“Breaking Down Life's Barriers: Moving Forward in Faith is the theme of a women's conference on Saturday, February 26, 2011
at the Holiday Inn in Dublin, California.
Sponsored by God's Hand Extended Christian Fellowship (GHECF),
the conference features ministry by Pastor Jean Ferguson,
Associate Pastor of GHECF and author of the newly released book
entitled ”One of the Greatest Calls of All: The Ministry of Intercession”,
and by Pastor Dorine Younger,Senior Pastor of Arms of Compassion
Worship Center in Antioch, California.
The daylong conference is designed to equip women with
strategies for successful living
and the theme scripture for the day is 2 Corinthians 10:4.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal
but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.”
According to Kevin Love, Senior Pastor at GHECF,
“Both speakers are anointed pastors, mothers, past and present
career women, wives, heads of households.
They have experienced both the richness and pains
of life and are therefore able to share how God's overcoming power
is the only true answer to success in this world.”
Music ministry for the conference is provided by Minister Marva Brown
and Elder Rhonda Fields from the GHECF praise team and by
guest psalmist Minister Cloann Moses of Arms of Compassion.
The conference begins at 9:00am and also includes ministry
in the drama by Teirrah McNair, Associate Pastor at GHECF
and the CEO (Chief Encouragement Officer) of Soul Shaping Publications.
Saturday's ministry is scheduled to end at 4:00pm and resume on
Sunday morning at 11:00am with a word in due season
by Apostle Smyrna Love of I AM Christian Fellowship in Lafayette, Louisiana.
A conference donation of $30 is requested and includes lunch and
a souvenir bag.

Arise, Cry Out for the children!
Dear Reverend McNair:
I had the pleasure of meeting you at our table at the Fellowship of Faith luncheon this month. Kathy Berggren and
I are working together to host the prayer event called Arise! Cry Out! on Nov 14, Saturday, at Onetta Harris Community Center, 9AM-12:00PM. As an Area Coordinator for Moms In Touch International and Kathy as
Director of EPA Mothers Together, it is a natural match - we both want to support moms and this is one way by having moms
come together corporately and praying for their children. Moms In Touch International is offering the Arise! Cry Out! prayer
event to celebrate its 25 years as a prayer ministry. Our theme verse is Lamentations 2: 19 "Arise, cry out in the night
as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to
him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street." A message of hope and action!
The morning will consist of messages from Pastor Miles McPherson of The Rock Church, who is an African American
pastor in San Diego and Fern Nichols founder of Moms In Touch International on a DVD that is in English with Spanish
subtitles, worship by Crimson Bridge Band and interspersed with actual time of prayer in small groups led by Fern Nichols
throughout the morning so it will be very interactive. It will be a great opportunity for all women to pray even if they
have never prayed in small groups before.

'Hands Across the Cities'
unifies churches for Healing of the Land
October 12, 2008 History was made on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 10:30AM (California, USA Time) as
churches all over our cities united with one stand, one voice and one song.
The move was called Hands Across the Cities and our goal was a healing of the land.
We stood on the Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 and with one voice sang halleluia all over the
10:30AM Congregations gathered on the sidewalk in front of church building
10:35AM Singers lead people in singing “Halleluia” (any version) as the
people gathered and God’s people touched and agree up and down the block.
Children held up signs and banners made with their hands. Dancers waved flags
and halals.
10:40AM Pastors lead people in ‘A Healing Prayer’ based on 2 Chronicles 7:14
10:45AM We ended with a shout of triumph believing that the work was done.
It was a simple move and a simple plan and we are confident that God was glorified.
Passerbys in busses and cars turned their heads and honked horns. All knew that something
extraordinary was taking place.
We patiently await the manifestation. Thank God for all of you who heard and responded to
the call.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and
pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways ; then will I hear from heaven, and
will forgive their sin and I will heal the land.
